MICRO COMPRESSOR

Abstract

A micro compressor includes a motor with a driving gear and a fan respectively connected to the first and second ends thereof. A plastic-made frame is connected to the first end of the motor. A transmission device is connected to the frame and connected to the driving gear. A Nylon link is located in the frame and connected to the transmission device. A mount is connected to the frame and a cylinder cap is connected to the top of the mount. The mount is snapped to the frame. The compressor is light in weight and has lower manufacturing cost. The cylinder has a short travel with less noise.

Claims



1. A micro compressor comprising: a motor; a driving gear connected to a first end of the motor, a fan connected to a second end of the motor; a frame connected to the first end of the motor, the frame being made by plastic; a transmission device connected to the frame and connected to the driving gear, a Nylon link located in the frame and connected to the transmission device, and a mount being snapped to the frame and a cylinder cap connected to a top of the mount.

The micro compressor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission device comprises a driven gear which is engaged with the driving gear, a cam is connected to the driven gear and has an eccentric shaft which is connected with an eccentric wheel, the eccentric wheel is connected to the Nylon link by a plane bearing.

3. The micro compressor as claimed in claim 2, wherein the eccentric shaft is connected to the frame by a needle bearing.

4. The micro compressor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the frame comprises a left part and a right part, the left and right parts are respectively located on two sides of the Nylon link.

5. The micro compressor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cylinder cap is made by plastic.
Description



BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Fields of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a micro compressor, and more particularly, to a micro compressor which is made by plastic.

[0003] 2. Descriptions of Related Art

[0004] The conventional compressor as disclosed in FIG. 1 generally comprises a motor 1, a driving gear 2 connected to the first end of the motor 1, and a fan 3 connected to the second end of the motor 1. A frame 6 is fixed to the first end of the motor 1 and has a transmission device 15 as shown in FIG. 2. The transmission device 15 comprises a driven gear 4, a driving shaft 17, a cam 5 and an eccentric shaft 8. The driven gear 4 is engaged with the driving gear 2, and the frame 6 is connected with a cylinder 16 which has a Nylon link 18 received therein. A cylinder cap 13 is connected to the top of the cylinder 16.

[0005] The transmission device 15 is located on one side of the frame 6 so that when the compressor is in operation, the compressor tends to shake because the position that the transmission device 15 is located. Even worse, the Nylon link 18 may be disengaged from the eccentric shaft 8, so that the conventional compressor cannot be satisfied. Besides, because the transmission device 15 is located on one side of the frame 6, the frame 6 usually is made by metal, and the cylinder 16 is connected to the frame 6 by bolts. This makes the conventional compressor be heavy and has high manufacturing cost.

[0006] The present invention intends to provide a micro compressor to eliminate the shortcomings mentioned above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention relates to a micro compressor and comprises a motor. A driving gear is connected to the first end of the motor, and a fan is connected to the second end of the motor. A frame is connected to the first end of the motor, and the frame is made by plastic. A transmission device is connected to the frame and connected to the driving gear. A Nylon link is located in the frame and connected to the transmission device. A mount is connected to the frame, and a cylinder cap is connected to the top of the mount.

[0008] Preferably, the transmission device comprises a driven gear which is engaged with the driving gear. A cam is connected to the driven gear and has an eccentric shaft which is connected with an eccentric wheel. The eccentric wheel is connected to the Nylon link by a plane bearing.

[0009] Preferably, the eccentric shaft is connected to the frame by a needle bearing.

[0010] Preferably, the frame comprises a left part and a right part, the left and right parts are respectively located on two sides of the Nylon link.

[0011] Preferably, the cylinder cap is made by plastic.

[0012] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a micro compressor which integrally combines the Nylon link, the plane bearing, the driven gear and the eccentric shaft to be a transmission device able to be fully supported by the motor's frame made of plastic. A needle bearing is located in the transmission device in the frame. Therefore, the frame is evenly supported at two points and has a stable structure so that the frame can be made by plastic. The mount is snapped to the frame without using any bolt to reduce the cost and the weight.

[0013] Another object of the present invention is to provide a micro compressor which is compact and generates less noise. The link has a short travel distance and the air is supplied quickly. The micro compressor has a stable structure and the frame is made by plastic so as to have a low manufacturing cost and a high work efficiency. The volume output by the micro compressor is high, and the electric power required is low. The manufacturing cost and the size are limited.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 3 to 5, the micro compressor of the present invention comprises a motor 1. A driving gear 2 is connected to the first end of the motor 1, and a fan 3 is connected to the second end of the motor 1. A frame 6 made of plastic is connected to the first end of the motor 1. A transmission device 14 is connected to the frame 6 and connected to the driving gear 2. A Nylon link 11 is located in the frame 6 and connected to the transmission device 14. A mount 12 is snapped to the frame 6 without using any bolt, and a cylinder cap 13 is connected to the top of the mount 12. The frame 6 and the cylinder cap 13 are both made by plastic.

[0021] The transmission device 14 comprises a driven gear 4 which is engaged with the driving gear 2. A cam 5 is connected to the driven gear 4 and has an eccentric shaft 8 connected thereto. The eccentric shaft 8 is connected with an eccentric wheel 10. The eccentric wheel 10 is connected to the Nylon link 11 by a plane bearing 9. The eccentric shaft 8 is connected to the frame 6 by a needle bearing 7. The frame 6 comprises a left part and a right part, the left and right parts are respectively located on two sides of the Nylon link 11 so as to enclose the Nylon link 11 and the transmission device 14.

[0022] The Nylon link 11 and the eccentric wheel 10 are connected by the plane bearing 9, the driven gear 4 and the eccentric shaft 8 to form the transmission device 14 which is fully supported by the frame 6 made of plastic. The needle bearing 7 is located in the transmission device 14 in the frame 6. Therefore, the frame 6 is evenly supported at two points and has a stable structure so that the frame 6 can be made by plastic. The mount 12 is snapped to the frame without using any bolt to reduce the cost and the weight.
